Metal Fabrication
In contemporary economies with modern manufacturing practices, production requirements can often be dictated by space and spare capacity. Additionally, with a need to continually invest in order to be market competitive, it can often be beneficial to outsource some aspects of operations. This can be especially important when attempting to blend products from a number of suppliers and outsourcing can help to ensure that production remains a smooth-running process.
Maine fabrication has been designed to assist you with maximising your production flow, ensuring that your product meets with your exacting standards and is also returned within the desired time frame.

CE approval at Maine
Under current legislation all structural steelwork and aluminium fabrication falls under the Construction Products Regulation and as such requires CE marking so as to show compliance with EN 1090-1. In July 2015 Maine gained the certificate for conformity which allows us to CE mark.
Our certificate is valid for:
EN 1090-1:2009+A1:2011 – execution of steel structures and aluminium structures.
The manufacture (including welding) and installation of structural work in steel up to and including Execution Class 2 (EXC 2) as defined in EN 1090-2.
